Textease Studio CT is a product with nine products in one suite- Textease Studio CT - a complete, configurable word-processor and desktop publisher, data handling, spreadsheet, drawing and multimedia presentation modules designed especially for primary education (These are all software tools within the full program Textease Studio CT of nine tools).

Textease Studio CT is fully configurable, allowing progression from the youngest of primary school children to adult users. This innovative suite is an essential selection of IT tools designed specifically to simplify teaching of the curriculum.

Textease CT was designed several years ago to be easy to use by pupils of different ages, with different abilities and with different learning styles and needs providing effective learning opportunities for all pupils and allowing each individual to produce their own high standard of work and results they are proud of. By customising Textease CT, and also adapting the activities pupils are set using them, pupils’ are given the chance to demonstrate their competence and attainment through appropriate means, overcoming any potential barriers to learning, and ICT, and allowing them to participate in lessons effectively.

Textease Publisher CT

Textease Publisher is the award-winning, word processing and desktop publishing package with multimedia capabilities all in one.
And now the best has just got even better - Textease has undergone a huge upgrade to become Textease CT. Together with the original Textease ease of use philosophy, Textease CT now boasts:

Textease Presenter CT

Textease Presenter CT is a powerful, easy to use presentation package allowing the creation of polished, multimedia presentations in a straightforward, intuitive way. Text, clip-art, digital images, sound and even video clips can all be combined effortlessly to create breathtaking presentations at the click of a button.
Slideshows can be set to run in a loop or in random order with many different options for fading slides, bullet points and background sound.
New presentation slide backgrounds with text frames and picture frames are already set up for use.
You will also find many New curriculum relevant examples such as Aztec Gods, making bread and the life cycle of a dandelion.
Textease Presenter CT can be used to present work created using other tools in the suite such as Textease CT, Textease Spreadsheet CT and Textease Paint CT.

Textease Spreadsheet CT
Power and flexibility - you can count on it! A powerful spreadsheet with very simple graph drawer incorporating a wonderfully simple toolbar that allows pupils to concentrate on spreadsheet modelling without having to worry about how to use complex software. It’s so easy to create spreadsheets using only the number of cells you need without compromising functionality – there is still the usual range of formulae (including sum, average, minimum and maximum). Spreadsheets can also perform larger operations for older children if required.

Multiple spreadsheets and charts can be added to one page and annotated with text and graphics. The data and charts are dynamically linked so when data is changed within a spreadsheet any associated charts are changed too.
You will also find in Textease Spreadsheet CT a range of New examples including organising a class party, time taken to travel to school and how far does a toy car travel on different surfaces.

Textease Database
The first database with attitude - it doesn't get any better than this!
Brilliant New multi-user database, completely rewritten and updated - this database is truly easy to use. With its multi-user capability - now everyone in the class can enter data into networked computers at the same time and watch on screen as charts are dynamically updated before their very eyes. Data entry can be done swiftly, leaving lots more time for interrogation and charting. It’s easy to create more than one graphical representation on the page to compare results in bar, line and pie charts simultaneously.

This new technology means that as long as they can access the network/internet - users can input and interrogate from anywhere in the world.
You will also find many example pre-built databases including weather, shapes and animals for quick interrogation.
More than one graphical representation can be seen on screen at once, each one changing dynamically as pupils input data. More than one query can be performed by different users at the same time.
Just fantastic for illustrating the principles of collecting and interrogating data.

Textease Paint CT:
A vibrant paint package to inspire creative young minds.>br> Fully revised and updated Textease Paint CT has been designed to help develop children’s creativity and understanding of colour and artistic effects. You will find a variety of brushes, colour palettes and effects plus a range of patterns and fills including stunning rainbow effects and fills. It's easy to create your own stamps from any piece of clipart or digital images.

Photo editing with special features including red-eye removal and an easy to use cropping tool make this application the perfect way to manipulate your photographs without having to use complicated photo editing programs developed for adults.

More NEW features include black and white templates to colour-in and example resources including wrapping paper, Christmas cards, Rangoli patterns and fantasy creatures.
Drawings created in Textease Paint can be imported to create wonderful stop frame animations with just a few simple clicks.

Textease Draw CT
A vector drawing and graphical modelling tool with power and flexibility designed to meet the demands of the primary curriculum to cover graphical modelling and a range of topics in art, design & technology and numeracy. You will be amazed at the functionality incorporated within the package including 2D plan view and 3D isometric clipart enabling the creation of model environments drawn to scale such as a classroom and playground.
You'll love the unrivalled measuring tools including a ruler, protractor, calliper and angle measurer allowing pupils to calculate areas, lengths and angles of objects on a page.

Textease Movies CT
Textease Movies CT is an easy to use movie making tool designed specifically for use in education. Using Textease Movies CT transforms video into an instantly viable, creative medium in the classroom.
All the video editing and capturing elements can be seen in the same view making it easy to add transitions, effects, sounds and titles without having to switch to a storyboard view. With an easy to use, colour coded timeline, startling effects can be achieved effortlessly by both pupils and teachers.
Textease Movies also allows you to determine the length of the effects and transitions that are added and videos can be cropped or stretched on the timeline as required.

Textease Turtle CT
A logo program incorporating the same ways to give instructions that are used to control floor turtles. The easy to use on-screen keypad with forwards, backwards, left and right turn gives a simple introduction to many aspects of control. There are many ways to progress from simple keypad operations to tasks involving more complex programming language. You can even type your commands directly onto the page making an ideal transition from using the keypad to creating procedures.

You will find a selection of NEW backgrounds (including journey to school, wild river ride and moves on a chess board) plus a range of different animated turtles. You can also create your own turtles and backgrounds so the possibilities for creative and imaginative work are endless.

Textease Branch CT
Textease Branch is an easy to use branching database allowing children to sort and classify information in a fun and imaginative way. By providing yes/no answers to questions they devise themselves, pupils categorize and gradually build up a tree. A recorded voice guides them through each stage of the process and they can even record their own voice they wish.
Objects can be switched around on a completed tree and resizing, repositioning and customising the tree with effects is easy to do using the familiar Textease functionality.

Each of these programs can be used as a stand-alone application or integrates with the other components to run as Textease Studio CT . This level of integration is not found in any other product of its generation.

Installation & Networking:
Textease Studio CT is designed to run across a network or on stand alone machines. In both cases a serial and key number is required to be entered into the Help/Upgrade sections after installation of the program. Please note that 'Product Activation' is now easier as the Serial No. and Key Pairs required to be entered for each modules product activation are printed on instructions in each CDROM pack. Product Registration with RM Asia-Pacific can now be done through their website (http://www.rmap.com.au/register) so as to receive a licence certificate and access to updates and technical support . This also is fully explained with the 'Product Activation' instructions supplied.
Note: Textease Studio CT is not available for Windows® NT network OS.
